Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Complex Needs Carer for a profoundly disabled man in the Huyton area.

The man has cerebral palsy and severe learning difficulties. He accesses a VNS due to severe epilepsy and PEG for all medication and fluids. (Training will be provided).

He is unable to perform any tasks independently and we therefore require a compassionate and experienced carer.

All support is within the family home.

Shifts:

Waking Nights 10pm-8am Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

8am-10am Monday-Thursday

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored personal care to individuals with complex physical, emotional, or behavioural needs
  • Administer medication, and provide personal hygiene
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with the family

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs or disabilities is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care
  • Relevant qualifications or training in health and social care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
  • Commitment to safeguarding principles and promoting client dignity
