KDC has an agreement with Knowsley Council which allows all personal assistants employed under the direct payments scheme in Knowsley/carers/family members to access a range of learning and development workshops.
Courses include: –

- Lifting and Carrying of People and loads
- Infection Control and Prevention
- Health & Safety
- Medicines Management for PAs (2hr session)
- Food for Life (1 day course)

Knowsley Council have introduced a charging policy on training due to the high level of non-attendance and last minute cancellations.
