Job Description

We are compiling a small team of carers for a gentleman who is in the early stages of motor neurones disease.

The gentleman requires 24/7 care, which will be provided within his own home.

MND is a degenerative illness, we are therefore seeking carers who will remain committed to the role and have a genuine caring attitude.

Attitude, compassion and reliability are the key requirements for this role. Full training will be provided in relation to the gentleman’s medical needs.

• Working Days: Mon – Sunday
• Shift Pattern: Days 9am-9pm
• There is a possibility to split as 6 hour day time shifts if needed

Responsibilities

• Meal Support
• Light Household Tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with client and his family.
• Empathy, patience, and a caring attitude towards individuals in need of support.
