Personal Assistant

Job Description

Looking for an experienced, patient, energetic and reliable Personal Assistant  to support my son throughout the summer holidays.   Initially this is a temporary position with the possibility of a more permanent role.

My son is 7 years of age (8 end of August). He has a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD & SPD, is non-verbal.   He is a fun, loving, active child with lots of energy, enjoys letters, numbers, swimming, the outdoors, soft plays.    He is toilet trained.   He requires some support with personal care, he requires constant supervision as he has no sense of danger.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, is confident in providing one to one support, and can keep him engaged in activities whilst ensuring his safety.

He currently attends Knowsley Central school, he prefers to play alone and doesn’t really engage with other children.

Ideally looking for someone to work the 10 hours over 2 days of the week, (for example: 5 hours on a Tuesday and 5 hours on a Wednesday) however flexible hours through the week.

Experience with SEN essential.

Driving is not a requirement for the role, However, being able to drive would be an advantage.

This is to cover summer holiday cover and looking for the suitable candidate to start week commencing 21st July through to the end of August.
