Skills for Health are providing a free online resource for those working in the public sector, particularly key workers, to learn about COVID-19 (Coronavirus), symptoms, infection prevention, investigation, guidance and support. As the Sector Skills Council for Health, we believe in supporting the sector in any way we can, with this free to access resource, the workforce can be well prepared to recognise and prevent the spread of the virus over the coming weeks and months.
Our online learning resource also includes the delivery of Statutory/Mandatory training, aligned to the UK’s Core Skills Training Framework, including Infection Prevention and Control.
This free COVID-19 resource goes even further to bring together advice, guidance and information about the disease, to support our public sector workforce to continue delivering the best possible service during these unprecedented times.
The course includes:

Developed by Skills for Health, this course references the healthcare environment, however the overall content is suitable for all key workers who may need to know about infection prevention, recognising signs of coronavirus, and dealing with the immediate needs of someone who is suspected of having the virus.
