Job Description
Do you have the ability to put the person first? If so we would like to hear from you, as we are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/ Carer/ Support Worker, to support a child with a learning disability on a 1-1 basis. The aim of the support, is to enable and empower the person to access the community and enjoy the leisure activities it has to offer.
The person enjoys
1. Swimming.
2. Running.
3. Having fun.
4. Making new friends.
The successful candidates will need to be experienced in supporting children on a 1-1 basis. Also have the willingness to learn how best to support the person and learn from his family.
You will reliable, honest, punctual, well-mannered, caring, friendly and patient.
You will preferably hold a NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Additional training can be arranged when required.
The support is provided on a 1:1 basis on the following times which could be flexible and discussed at Interview
