Support Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a support worker to work on a 2:1 basis with a non-verbal autistic young adult in the Huyton area of the city.

You will be providing access to activities and facilities within the community/clubs etc…

He does not, however, like environments that are too noisy.  So we are seeking someone with strong awareness of their environment and the impact it can have on those being supported.  You will also be required to provide toileting support, and light personal care, so must be comfortable and confident in this.

The ideal candidate will be friendly with a calm and patient manner.  You will need to be experienced in supporting people living with ASD and have a genuine interest in, supporting a neuro diverse child.

This role requires someone who can drive, and has access to their own vehicle.  On shift mileage will be paid.
